Role: Field Specialist – Artificial Lift Solutions

Location: Projects nationwide

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation and commissioning of ESP system
  • Perform retrieval and field observation of ESP system
  • Perform troubleshooting of ESP system and surface equipment include VSD or MVD
  • Perform PCP commissioning
  • Perform PCP drive head repair and refurbishment
  • Perform installation and commissioning of HPS system
  • Perform maintenance of HPS
  • Perform installation of surface equipment VSD or MVD
  • Perform commissioning of VSD or MVD
  • Capture field data of ESP, PCP, HPS performance for optimization and failure analysis
  • Dismantle Inspection Failure Analysis of ESP equipment
  • Deliver and Archive Final Job Deliverables
  • Perform equipment preparation

Other Responsibilities:

  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Responsible for service delivery execution.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  • Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  • Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the compliance audit, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
  • Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical certificate or similar (preferred diploma/ adv. diploma in engineering).
  • Australian Electrical Contractors License is required
  • Full working rights for Australia
  • Forklift license and experience with overhead gantry crane is an advantage
  • Competency and working knowledge with Electrical Submergible Pump (ESP), Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP), Horizontal Pumping System (HPS), Variable Speed Drive (VSD) and Medium Voltage Drive (MVD) preferred.
