Integrated Solutions is adding Field Service Technicians for their installation team , responsible for unloading, installing, and the set-up of equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Must be experienced using powered hand tools, and ability to read and understand schematics and assembly diagrams. This position requires heavy travel. The ideal candidate needs to have strong electrical experience and be a responsible and self-motivated problem solver with a “can do” attitude to meet project deadlines.



POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties as assigned.

  • Properly, timely, and efficiently install equipment and/ or upgrades at a customer’s facility
  • Must be experienced using power and hand tools for assembly of large automated systems.
  • Working with team assembling, moving, and installing sorting and conveyor system equipment, sub-assemblies, modules and top-level machine systems, in accordance with engineering specifications and procedures.
  • Properly test and confirm all features and functions perform as designed on the system
  • Follow proper escalation policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Assemble and set-up conveyor driven sortation systems; and
  • Verify functioning and conformance to specifications using various hand and power tools to accomplish tasks at each level.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel up to 95% - with the company paying travel, hotel, and per diem.
  • 3+ years’ experience installing or servicing material handling equipment, conveyors, or other industrial equipment
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills
  • Electrical installation of material handling systems
  • Experience using computer, cell phone, email, Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and machine drawings.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
  • Communication skills to discuss system operations to non-technical staff and end user customers
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Valid drivers’ license and ability to qualify for a US passport


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work minimum of 10-hour shifts
  • Ability to lift, push, bend, and unload equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
