Tech II responsible for safe, high quality field work in field services—executing work orders, maintaining assets, and delivering responsive customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Complete service orders (turn on/off, rereads, meter tests) within SLAs; document results.
• Investigate high/low usage, no reads, and tamper alarms; escalate anomalies.
• Perform utility locates/mark outs and customer appointments professionally.
• Use mobile apps/handhelds for work orders and inventory; maintain vehicle and tools.
• Support emergency response and after hours rotations as assigned.
• Work independently on routine tasks; request guidance on complex issues.
• Provide courteous customer and stakeholder communications at job sites.
Qualifications
• 2–4 years relevant field experience in Field Services operations within water/wastewater/public works.
• Strong safety mindset (confined space, trenching/MOT, PPE); clean driving record.
• CMMS/mobile work order proficiency and accurate documentation.
Education & Certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Field based role with frequent driving, outdoor work in varied weather, and exposure to traffic, confined spaces, biological/chemical hazards, energized equipment, and uneven terrain. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb, kneel, and wear required PPE. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
