• Troubleshoot machine downtime and perform overall machineassessments, andprovide recommendations for repair or improved productivity.

• Perform new machine start-up inspections and operations training.

• Oversee onsite parts removal,installationand assembly.

• Recommend parts and service solutions to improve machine uptime,maintenanceand operation.

• Provide written post-visit reports with a visit overview, observations, recommendations, and accompanying quote for recommended parts.

• Based on field observations and customer feedback,provideRotex Engineering with equipment design and feature recommendations.

• Maintain a reasonable “on-call” status to answer customer questions via phone and email.

• Perform other assignments or dutiesappropriate tothe overall responsibility of the position of Field Service Engineer.

• Assistin developing department documents, standards, andprocessesas necessary.

Basic Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Engineeringor related field; or1-2years related mechanical engineering/maintenance/field service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to travel50-75%of the time.

• Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word,PowerPoint, andExcel, and Outlook.

Great to Haves

• Experience withMicrosoft CRM preferred

• Basic knowledge ofSolidworks(3D) and AutoCAD (2D) or similar platforms preferred
