Bemana is seeking a Field Service Technician in the greater Houston, TX area to travel to industrial production sites troubleshooting and repairing AC VFDs, DC motor controls, and PLCs. Job Duties:

• Performs troubleshooting of VFDs, PLC’s, HMI’s, Motion Controllers, AC/DC drives, and industrial devices for Innovative IDM customers.

• On-site troubleshooting and electronic repair of simple to complex production machinery

• Installation and start-up of industrial control systems

• Performs field retrofits and start-up services of large-scale complex control systems.

• Self-driven, well organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Must have 5-7 years of experience troubleshooting industrial electronic controls to include relays, contactors, solenoids and control logic.

• Must have the ability to read and understand electrical-electronic schematic diagrams.

• The skill required to troubleshoot, repair, and program AC VFDs and DC motor controls.

• The ability to troubleshoot PLC’s and Servo motion controllers.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must possess applicable hand tools

• Electrical/electronic AutoCAD and PLC programming experience (Preferred but not required)
