THE MISSION – Leidos Intelligence Sector is seeking a fully cleared Field Service Technician to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Chantilly, Virginia.

THE CHALLENGE – In this role you will provide Incident Response support for desktops, systems, Office, and client-proprietary products. This may include;

  • Using ITIL-based processes to streamline the receipt, triage, categorization, action, and resolution for incoming incidents, requests, and demands,
  • Analyzing, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing fixes,
  • Providing basic user training in support of off-the-shelf applications and office products as well as some custom tools, depending on the office being supported,
  • Performing remote desktop triage and system repair using remote tools,
  • Answering questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status, and downtime procedures,
  • Collaborating with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development to restore service and/or identify problems,
  • Utilizing specialized non-commercial systems administrator experience (access management/file transfer),
  • Providing basic user training in support of off-the-shelf applications and office products as well as some custom tools, depending on the office being supported,
  • Traveling locally between customer buildings or temporary assignment to an alternate location in support of special projects,
  • Maintaining and updating records and tracking databases,
  • Using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION –

  • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
  • Experience resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone, in-person, or via self-service which involve computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems
  • Ability to work the client-assigned 7 am – 4 pm shift at a client site in Chantilly, VA
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to embrace diverse technical disciplines with excellent customer service skills.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
