The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician with a strong electrical background to independently install, commission, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems and equipment at customer sites. This senior-level role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to serve as a trusted technical resource for customers and junior technicians. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service is essential.

What you will do?

  • Lead installation, commissioning, testing, and complex troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and controls at customer locations.
  • Perform advanced preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Interpret and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to customers and less experienced technicians.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and service requirements.
  • Complete all service reports, documentation, and work orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure all work meets electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle to professional standards.
  • Support on-call, emergency response, and high-priority service needs as required.
  • Work in a field-based role with frequent travel to customer locations, including industrial, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.
  • Work occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call support depending on customer needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, commissioning, or field service in an industrial or commercial environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems including motors, controls, automation, and power distribution.
  • Demonstrated proficiency interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong independent problem-solving abilities with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA or other electrical safety certifications preferred.
