Job Description

SRCTec, LLC is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to become one of two OEM representatives supporting local units at Fort Hood, TX. SRCTec designs, manufactures, and supports cutting-edge radar and sensor systems for a global commercial and defense customer base. The ideal candidate will independently deliver high-quality pre- and post-sales technical support through product demonstrations, comprehensive training, field support, and remote assistance. The candidate will primarily integrate with assigned units providing technical and training support in garrison and deployed CONUS and OCONUS locations (excluding danger zones). This role also involves creating technical content to drive customer success and providing on-site consultation oversight and integration support for hardware, software, network configurations, and new system initiatives.  What You’ll Do Conduct field training and service support at customer locations, both domestically and internationally, often as a solo or lead representativeCollaborate closely with customers and end users to define and document requirements, working with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet quality, cost, and schedule goalsThrive in a collaborative, customer-focused engineering culture, contributing to team efforts to enhance product usability and sustainmentRespond promptly to customer operational needs, including last-minute travel to potentially austere field sitesPerform advanced troubleshooting, system/sub-system analysis, and component-level diagnostics Provide technical expertise to engineering, quality, configuration management, and subcontract teams to ensure seamless operations, including guidance on handling, installation, and utilization of various systems and equipmentDevelop and document detailed test plans, technical performance assessments, and after-action reports to drive continuous improvementProvide on-site consultation oversight and integration support for existing hardware, software, network configurations, and new system initiatives for all sites within area of responsibilityAdvise on technical requirements for products and services, support equipment, and electronic equipment installationsAssist in the development and ensure adherence to area-wide procedural/policy changesWork independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with impact on operational results or project deliverablesDevelop technical solutions requiring collaboration with internal experts and deep analyses of impact on end-product/solution What You’ll Bring  Associate’s degree, vocational certification, or military experience in an engineering-relevant field with 4+ years of engineering-related experience, or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field with 2+ years of work experience (equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered, such as experience with radar, RF-based, communication, or navigation systems)Deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain, with broad understanding of other related specialty areasProficiency with test equipment such as multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes to diagnose electrical and electronic system issuesAbility to interpret electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, test/assembly instructions, specifications, and engineering documentation with accuracyAbility to synthesize technical product knowledge and customer field experience to assist the development of technical manuals and training material contentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with a customer-centric approach to service, including communicating with internal and client project team members to influence solution design, process, and approachesSelf-driven with strong time management and organizational skills to independently manage in-track tasksAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, interacting frequently with engineering, SMEs, and customersExperience delivering technical training or certification as an assistant instructor for operator and maintenance training coursesAbility to lift, move, and walk with a minimum of 50 pounds, climb towers, and tolerate long flights and periodic long workdaysAdvanced computer skills, including MS Office suite, and a firm understanding of TCP/IP networkingWillingness to travel up to 75% (domestic and international), including potential extended assignments at military or customer locations in austere environments (desert, arctic, or other extreme conditions) with associated environmental and biological hazardsMust have U.S. passport and DoD Secret security clearance.Must be able to pass a pre-deployment physical.Ways to Stand Out Military experience preferred but not required What Sets Us Apart?

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $71,000 to $86,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
