About the Role

We are seeking a Field Service Manager to provide operational leadership, technical support, and day-to-day supervision for Field Service Representatives supporting customer sites across our East District, based in Rowville. This role is responsible for coordinating field assignments, dispatching resources, supporting customer issue resolution, ensuring QHSE and regulatory compliance, and developing a high-performing field service team.

The Field Service Supervisor will work closely with customers, Field Service Representatives, District Service Management, Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and other internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, safe execution of work, timely response to service needs, and effective utilisation of field resources.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan and coordinate Field Service Representative assignments for customer requests, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and other field activities.
  • Supervise, train, develop, and manage performance of field personnel.
  • Review and approve field employee work orders to support accurate reporting and timely customer invoicing.
  • Promote safe field operations and ensure compliance with QHSE, customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support customer issue resolution and coordinate with internal technical and operational teams.
  • Maintain strong customer communication and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage field resource utilisation, readiness, documentation, tooling, and operational support requirements.
  • Support sales growth by advising on customer activities and identifying service opportunities.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating field service personnel preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, conflict resolution, resource planning, and safety leadership skills.
  • Technical degree, field experience, or significant knowledge of turbomachinery, controls, rotating equipment, or industrial service operations preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant field experience recommended.
  • Willingness to travel, support customer sites, and participate in on-call coverage as required.
