As a Field Service Engineer – UPS (Data Center Solutions), you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality service, technical expertise, and customer support for Delta’s Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and related Data Center Solutions (DCS) products. This role involves both hands‑on technical work and knowledge leadership, developing deep expertise, sharing best practices across EMEA, supporting customers with complex issues, and contributing to continual product and service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repair, and on‑site technical support for UPS systems.
  • Execute commissioning activities (L2–L5), system testing, and verification.
  • Provide expert support for critical escalations and conduct root‑cause analysis.
  • Deliver training to field engineers, service partners, and customers.
  • Develop and maintain service documentation and spare‑parts lists.
  • Support and manage a network of EMEA service partners.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to address customer needs and identify service opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years’ experience with UPS or power‑electronics systems.
  • Strong understanding of power infrastructure and electrical systems.
  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Independent, customer‑focused, and willing to travel within EMEA.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in data centers or mission‑critical environments.
  • Knowledge of battery technologies and monitoring systems.
  • Relevant electrical safety certifications.
