Linx Printing Technologies is launching direct sales and service operations in the United States! As part of our ambitious growth plans, we’re looking for experienced Field Service Engineers to support our growing customer base across the US. In this role, you’ll be essential to building our reputation for outstanding service, supporting our innovative coding and marking solutions, and ensuring customers receive the highest standards of technical support.

Field Service Engineers are responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Linx’s full range of coding and marking products across the United States. You’ll work hands-on at customer sites, ensuring our solutions operate at their best and our customers remain satisfied.

This role requires regular travel in Texas including 2–3 nights away from home each week to support customer needs and scheduled service activity.

What You’ll Do

  • Install & Maintain Equipment: Set up, service, and repair coding and marking systems at customer sites
  • Respond to Breakdowns: Diagnose and fix issues quickly to keep customer operations running smoothly
  • Deliver Great Service: Build trust with customers through clear communication, professional support, and effective problem-solving
  • Travel to Customer Sites: Support customers primarily across Dallas and Houston, with 2–3 overnight stays per week
  • Handle Service Calls: Manage field service requests promptly and professionally
  • Document Work: Keep accurate records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance
  • Support Linx Solutions: Help customers get the most from their Linx equipment, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability

You will:

  • Enjoy being part of an energetic, entrepreneurial team helping to launch and grow Linx’s direct presence in the US
  • Be confident talking to customers, explaining solutions clearly, and building strong working relationships
  • Enjoy solving problems, especially when situations are new, unfamiliar, or technically challenging
  • Stay calm and effective when working under pressure or responding to urgent customer issues
  • Be highly self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own schedule and travel
  • Take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution, keeping customers informed along the way
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both face‑to‑face and in writing

Your Background

  • Experience in a hands‑on technical, service, engineering, or customer‑facing field role
  • A strong service mindset with a genuine desire to help customers succeed
  • Comfort working independently, often on the road, as part of a growing US operation
  • Valid US driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio including 2–3 nights away per week

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $52200 - $91400 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
