Field Service Engineer – Securitas Technology Ireland

Location: Limerick, Ireland

Type: Full-time | On-site

We’re now looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Limerick team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining security systems and providing excellent service to our customers.

What you’ll do..

• Maintain intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems at a variety of customer sites.
• Carry out fault finding and first-line support for security system issues.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance, as well as installations, as required.
• Respond to service calls and maintenance visits using the PDA system, working closely with the Service Manager and Service Desk Coordinators.
• Manage van stock, tools, and safety equipment to ensure you’re fully prepared for each visit.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Quality standards at all times.
• Participate in the on-call rota when required.
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation for all service activities.

What You’ll Bring

• Technical knowledge of intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems (e.g., Pacom, Hikvision, HKC, Galaxy).
• Experience with IP-based systems and strong fault-finding skills.
• A solid background in the security, fire, or communications industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, organised, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Proficiency with PDA systems and basic administration skills.
• A willingness to learn and stay up to date with new technology and industry developments.
• Full driving license.
