This hands‑on role is critical as we expand our footprint across multiple drone manufacturers. You will work directly with customers, end‑users, and OEM teams to integrate, configure, test, and support SSCI autonomy capabilities on multiple UAS in real-world environments.

At Scientific Systems, you’ll be part of a team pushing the boundaries of autonomy, robotics, and defense innovation. As we expand our commercial and defense UAS partnerships, this role offers the chance to influence product deployment, customer success, and real-world mission impact.
Essential Functions:
- Integrate SSCI autonomy software onto customer and OEM aircraft, including configuration of flight controllers, radios, sensors, payloads, and autonomy modules.
- Conduct safe and compliant UAS flight operations under FAA Part 107 for testing, demonstrations, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, end‑users, and OEM teams.
- This role will require hands-on troubleshooting fieldwork both onsite and at customer sites.
- Diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, networking, and software subsystems.
- Support flight test campaigns: aircraft setup, pre‑flight procedures, mission execution, data logging, and post‑flight analysis.
- Train customer and partner teams on the use, configuration, and maintenance of SSCI-enabled aircraft.
- Document integration activities, troubleshooting findings, and recommended improvements.
- Provide feedback to SSCI engineering teams to enhance cross‑platform performance, reliability, and customer experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DOD Security Clearance.

- Strong understanding of UAS avionics, radios, sensors, power systems, and ground control interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Military service is a plus, especially experience with aviation operations, UAS units, communications, or mission‑focused technical roles.
