Job Description
To ensure safe, reliable, and efficient execution of field service activities through effective project planning, technical support, troubleshooting, equipment readiness, and coordination with customers and internal teams. The role aims to ensure project schedules and deliverables are achieved while maintaining equipment performance, service quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with NOV QHSE and customer requirements.
- Review project requirements and develop field service execution plans.
- Supervise and guide Field Service Technicians during rig-up, rig-down, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, and internal teams to ensure project schedules and deliverables are met.
- Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and system integration issues.
- Ensure proper calibration and equipment performance before deployment.
- Review and validate test results, service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
- Act as a technical contact for customers during field operations and provide appropriate technical recommendations and solutions.
- Conduct customer review discussions to assess service quality and obtain feedback.
- Support compliance with NOV QHSE documentation, company safety standards, customer HSE requirements, and applicable legal and contractual requirements.
- Mentor and train Field Service Technicians and conduct training for customers and operators when required.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring technical issues and opportunities to improve systems, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Travel to onshore and offshore rig sites as required and provide on-site support in challenging operational environments.
- Participate in training and development activities to continuously improve technical knowledge and understanding of NOV equipment.
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry or similar industries.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of industry-standard practices and job safety procedures.
- Good knowledge of IT and network-related equipment.
- Knowledge of maintenance related to hydraulic instruments.
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Willing to travel extensively to onshore and offshore rig sites as required.
