Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide on-site technical service for customers with installed measurement and instrumentation products.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform installation, start-up, commissioning, maintenance, repair, upgrades, and replacement activities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergency service requests.
  • Provide customers with technical support, recommended service standards, and industry best practices.
  • Support the preparation of repair scopes and quotations based on identified customer requirements.
  • Coordinate product recall and replacement activities when required.
  • Prepare clear and accurate service reports, documenting completed work, technical findings, and recommended follow-up actions.
  • Report work progress, customer requirements, and technical issues to the Service Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with Measurement Solutions colleagues and other business unit team members.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide product operation and maintenance guidance or training to customers when required.
  • Follow all applicable safety, quality, environmental, and company procedures while performing work at customer sites.
  • Travel to customer locations as required to support service assignments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • At least 3 years of field service experience with measurement, instrumentation, electrical, electronic, communication, or industrial equipment.
  • An Industrial Engineer certificate or a higher-level professional certification in at least one relevant field, such as electrical engineering, electronic engineering, communications, or air environment.
  • Practical ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair technical or industrial equipment.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to urgent and sensitive service situations and work effectively under pressure.
  • Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Commitment to following workplace health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • A degree or equivalent technical education in engineering, instrumentation, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, communications, environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience servicing process measurement or industrial instrumentation equipment.
  • Experience with commissioning, start-up, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or other industrial facilities.
  • Familiarity with plant maintenance, repair, and operations processes and spare-parts support.
  • Experience preparing technical service reports, repair recommendations, or service quotations.
  • Working-level English communication skills for reviewing technical documents and collaborating with regional or global colleagues.
  • A customer-focused approach and the ability to build productive working relationships across different functions.
  • Preference will be given to those with electrical, electronic, or communications-related qualifications (전기, 전자, 통신 관련 자격증 우대)
