As a Field Service Engineer at GE Medical Systems Trade and Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of GE Medical equipment at customer sites. You will ensure optimal performance of medical devices, provide technical support to clients, and contribute to customer satisfaction through your expertise and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
* Perform installation, commissioning, and de-installation of GE Medical Systems products at customer locations.
* Conduct routine preventive maintenance on medical imaging equipment (e.g., MRI, CT, X-ray,MI) and other medical devices according to established schedules and procedures.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking of GE medical equipment.
* Execute timely and effective repairs, including component replacement, calibration, and system adjustments.
* Provide comprehensive technical support and training to clinical staff and other users on the operation and maintenance of GE medical systems.
* Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory of spare parts.
* Adhere to all company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., medical device regulations, safety protocols).
* Collaborate with sales, applications, and other service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
* Proactively identify opportunities for service contract renewals and upgrades.
* Manage and maintain a positive relationship with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with GE products and services.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in field service engineering, preferably within the medical device industry.
* Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with medical imaging equipment (e.g., CT, MRI, X-ray, MI) or other complex medical systems.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
* Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
* Ability to travel frequently within the assigned service territory, including overnight stays.
* Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
* Familiarity with medical device regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485) is a plus.
