DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer ],locatedin Dubai, UAE

Overall purpose of job:

  • Providingtechnicalassistanceand quality service to customerswhile ensuringcompliance guidelines are followed.

  • Ability toassistthe service manager with daily running of the service center, providing effective technical support and understanding customer needs, with administration responsibilities andlogisticsmanagement.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Attend service calls independently, effectively and on time by recognizing customers’ needs and adding value to gaincustomersloyalty.

  • Perform in-field service activities such as installations, periodic maintenance,upgradesand repairs.

  • Communicate independently in the right manner with internal and external customers.

  • Receive / Log service calls and complaints, communicate withdistributorsengineers and proactively respond to their needs.

  • Monitor warranty / service contracts and follow up on their expiry.

  • Monitor spare parts movement and replenish effectively to ensure excellentafter salestechnical support.

  • Maintain installation base for all products supported by TSC.

  • Collaboration across franchise and business partners in the region.

  • Routine adminworksuch as quotes, orders,invoicing, shipping,communications,and follow-ups.

Special requirements

  • Experience inservice contractsand training Field Engineers, Sales Reps and Customers.

Other features of the job:

  • Deals with peers, workers, salesrepsand managers.

  • Deal with distributors, customers (Hospital), endusersand Biomedical Engineers.

  • Language – Arabic and Englishrequired

Job location:

  • Dubai, UAE

  • Approximately50-70% oftravel may berequired

Essential knowledge and skills:

  • Education: University/Bachelor’s Degree in BiomedicalElectricalElectronicEngineering

  • Years of experience: Generallyrequires (3+) years related experience
