The Position

At Roche, we believe that access to reliable diagnostics plays a critical role in improving patient outcomes. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our instruments operate at their best—supporting healthcare professionals with timely, high-quality technical service.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge diagnostic technologies while building strong partnerships with customers across your territory.

Your Opportunity

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic instruments at customer sites

  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all service activities are completed accurately and on time

  • Provide technical training and support to customers to ensure optimal product usage

  • Document service activities, product issues, and maintenance reports in internal systems

  • Manage spare parts, service logs, and administrative responsibilities in a timely manner

  • Travel within assigned territory to support hospitals, labs, and healthcare facilities

  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to preventive maintenance procedures

  • Build trusted relationships with customers, becoming a reliable technical partner in their operations

Who you are

You are a technically capable and customer-focused professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, with a structured approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability in delivering service excellence.

  • Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Electronic, Electro-Medical (ATEM), Instrumentation, or Physics Engineering

  • Fresh graduates are welcome; 2+ years of experience as a Service Engineer in diagnostics or medical devices is an advantage

  • Able to read and understand wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and system functions

  • Familiar with measurement tools (e.g., multimeter, voltmeter)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively while working under pressure

  • Effective communication skills, including basic English proficiency
