The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, maintain, and service MultiSEM systems, ensuring high uptime and customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing, field-based role with travel across Japan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain MultiSEM and related systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and component replacement
  • Provide on-site technical support and customer training
  • Prepare service reports and technical documentation
  • Communicate technical issues to customers and internal support teams

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a field service engineer supporting complex equipment (E-Beam preferred)
  • Semiconductor industry and FAB experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Business-level Japanese and English communication

Preferred:

  • X-ray systems, PC repair, precision measurement equipment, ZEISS/ZEN software experience.

Employment Conditions

Contract Period: Indefinite

Probation Period: 3 months (extendable up to 6 months)

Work Locations (assignment possible to any):

  • (Field-based role with domestic and occasional overseas travel)
  • Tokyo: 2-10-9 Kojimachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 102-0083
  • Osaka: 3-35-22 Tarumi-cho, Suita-shi, Osaka 564-0062
  • Nagoya: Global25 2F, 25 Takara-ga-oka, Meito-ku, Nagoya-shi, Aichi 465-0043

Working Hours: 9:00–17:30 with 60 minutes break time

Holidays & Leave: Approx. 125 days per year (weekends, public holidays), Year-end/New Year holidays (Dec 29 – Jan 4). Paid leave: 14–20 days in year one, 20 days in year two, 21–25 days thereafter

Overtime May occur depending on business needs; compensated per law and company policy

Smoking Policy: No smoking on company premises

Salary & Benefits: Annual salary: ¥4,500,000 – ¥7,000,000+ (gross) Bonus: Paid in accordance with company policyCommuting allowance provided

Insurance: Health insurance, Employees’ pension, Unemployment insurance, Industrial Accident Compensation, Nursing care insurance.
