Job Description

Job Type: Full-Time (2nd shift) – Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm.

Activity: Industry, heavy machinery, automation. Technical assistance, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

What you develop:

  • Support our client with the maintenance of his APCO designed and manufactured machines including troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of specialized mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/components.

What you bring:

  • 2-5 years of facilities/machine maintenance experience.

  • Possess an associate degree or similar level.

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

  • Must have a good understanding of electrical systems to include 480 volt and below including various control voltage.

  • Must be self-sufficient - able to work under minimal supervision, fast-thinking and pro-active.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.

  • Good physical condition: ability to carry up to 50 pounds (tool box or parts) up to 50 feet.

  • Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 PSI operating pressure.

    • Strong customer service, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Attention to detail and quality.
