Schedule Standard business hours (flexibility required due to travel)


We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Coordinator (Mechanical Systems) to support and coordinate domestic and international service operations. This role combines service coordination with hands-on mechanical work, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation of equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and service teams
  • Coordinate and manage service requests to ensure timely and professional execution
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians based on availability and client needs
  • Provide clients with updates on service status, timelines, and scheduling changes
  • Travel to customer sites to perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and installation
  • Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical systems and components
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and client communications
  • Assist in developing SOPs and service-related documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service issues independently or with internal support
  • Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer satisfaction
  • Generate reports on service activity, technician performance, and client feedback
  • Travel domestically and internationally (approximately 35% to 50%)

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in field service operations, service coordination, or related role
  • Hands-on mechanical experience working with tools, machinery, and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems
  • Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) practices
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Valid passport required

Physical Qualifications

  • Ability to travel frequently, including international travel
  • Ability to work hands-on with mechanical equipment and tools
  • Ability to perform on-site service work in various environments
