The Sales Field Training & Performance Lead is responsible for elevating sales effectiveness across Amerita’s national markets through hands-on field coaching, structured development programs, and performance-based training initiatives. This role drives execution of Amerita’s sales model by reinforcing skill development, identifying performance gaps, and translating field insights into scalable training strategies that improve referral growth and market penetration.

This position requires a strong field presence and close partnership with Sales Leadership to ensure consistent execution, accountability, and continuous improvement across the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a consistent in-market presence to reinforce training application and sales execution standards
  • Spends approximately three days per week in the field conducting ride-alongs, live coaching, workflow observation, and skill reinforcement
  • Partners with Sales Directors to identify underperforming representatives and priority markets requiring targeted support
  • Delivers structured performance improvement plans aligned with Amerita’s sales methodology
  • Provides real-time feedback and actionable coaching to improve territory management, referral development, and closing effectiveness
  • Develops and facilitate onboarding, advanced sales skills, and continuous education programs
  • Translates field observations into updated training content, tools, and best-practice playbooks
  • Standardizes training processes to ensure consistent messaging, compliance alignment, and execution across markets
  • Supports rollout of new initiatives, products, and strategic sales campaigns
  • Analyzes sales metrics and market performance trends to identify skill gaps and development priorities
  • Monitors impact of coaching interventions and training programs on referral growth and revenue performance
  • Provides structured feedback to Sales Leadership on field trends, barriers, and capability development needs
  • Contributes to continuous enhancement of Amerita’s sales training framework
  • Partners with Sales Directors, Regional Leadership, Marketing, and Operations to align training with strategic objectives
  • Supports change management efforts related to new tools, systems, and workflows
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on sales execution best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of healthcare or specialty pharmacy sales experience.
  • Proven track record of sales success and field leadership influence.
  • The Sales Field Training & Performance Lead maintains a strong field presence to reinforce training application and support performance improvement across markets.
  • Approximately 60% of time spent in market, including three days per week conducting ride-alongs and live coaching.
  • National travel required with regular overnight stays based on market needs and performance priorities.
  • Ride-alongs, live coaching, workflow observation, skill reinforcement, and in-market training sessions designed to accelerate competency and drive measurable performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, coaching, or sales enablement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable development plans.
  • Ability to travel nationally and maintain consistent field presence.
  • Percentage of travel required will be 25-75%
