
Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:

Engagement: Approach members of the public in various locations, such, events, or shopping malls, to initiate conversations about our cause and secure regular donations.
â
Educate: Effectively communicate our organization's mission, programs, and impact to potential donors, highlighting the importance of their long-term support in achieving our goals.
â
Fundraising: Raise a minimum of 18 long term recurring donations worth Kshs.1,200 and Kshs.14,000 as once off a month.
â
Build Rapport: Develop genuine connections with individuals through active listening, empathy, and understanding of their concerns and motivations.
â
Inspire Action: Utilize persuasive communication techniques to encourage individuals to commit to long term regular donations, emphasizing the significance of their contributions in creating positive change.
â
Maintain Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines governing fundraising activities, ensuring ethical and transparent interactions with the public.
â
Data Reporting: Accurately record donor information, interactions, and outcomes in our database, providing regular reports to management on fundraising progress and performance.
Key Qualifications:
â
Minimum education qualification is diploma; a degree will be an added advantage.
â
1-2 years’ experience in fundraising, hard core sales/marketing or customer service.
â
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and create a connection easily.
â
Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities, coupled with a genuine passion for our cause.
â
Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a high target-driven environment.
