Your Opportunity at SECURE

The Field Sales Representative plays a key role in identifying new business opportunities and driving the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This requires a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences to both prospective and existing clients. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Operations team to foster a positive, high-energy culture. A strong community presence and the ability to build lasting relationships are essential to success in this position.

This role supports key field operations across Dawson Creek FST, Boundary Lake FST, and Fort St. John FST (oilfield operations), with additional support to Kotcho FST and Gordondale SWD.

The Team

You’ll be part of a collaborative, field-focused team that works closely across multiple sites to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The team values accountability, strong communication, and a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving in a dynamic operating environment.

Work Environment

Based ideally in or near Dawson Creek (within 25 km north, northwest, or west), this position operates in a fast-paced, multi-site environment where adaptability, responsiveness, and a strong on-the-ground presence are critical to success.

A Day in The Life

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a trusted partner and resource
  • Collaborate with potential clients to identify tailored solutions that align with their specific operational needs and business objectives
  • Partner with the sales team to support end-to-end sales efforts, including strategy, contract negotiations, and securing accurate tracking and logistics quotes
  • Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, Administrative, and Operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition, retention, and growth strategies to drive long-term success and revenue growth
  • Engage actively with the local community to foster positive relationships, enhance brand presence, and identify potential business opportunities
  • Create and maintain a Personal Development Plan aligned with both individual growth goals and organizational objectives
  • Consistently model and promote SECURE’s mission and core values in all professional interactions and decision-making
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of SECURE’s facility offerings (e.g., all-weather pads, metering systems, facility acceptances) and stay informed on competitive advantages within the regional market

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is considered a strong asset
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales and marketing experience within the energy services sector preferred
  • Hands on operational experience, with a solid understanding of field level logistics and service execution
  • Previous exposure to oil marketing is considered a strong asset
  • Established network of industry contacts is essential to success in this role
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance, exceptional communication skills, and strong customer relationship management
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); comfortable working with digital tools and platforms
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling technical presentations when required
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
  • Willingness and flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required
  • Self-driven and proactive in staying ahead of market trends and new business activity while nurturing existing client relationships
