About the role

We are looking for a Field Sales Representative with a technical background to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Portugal who will be responsible Developing Business at the IBM Business Unit in Portugal.

Role Purpose:

To manage and grow strategic accounts within the IT distribution channel, ensuring sustainable business development with resellers, integrators, and technology partners.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales and market data.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization.
  • Team player with a customer-centric approach.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2- 5 years of experience in commercial roles within the IT distribution or technology sector.
  • Technical background is a must
  • Strong knowledge of the IT distribution channel (resellers, retail, integrators, VARs).
  • Proven ability to negotiate with key accounts and manage profit margins.
  • Solid understanding of hardware, software, and IT solutions portfolios (e.g., servers, networking, cloud, security).
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Excel and CRM tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with leading brands
  • Technical training or certifications
