We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our Auckland Commercial team.

About the Role
As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities while managing and developing existing customer relationships.
This is a highly customer-focused sales role where you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their logistics and business needs and deliver tailored DHL solutions that help their businesses succeed and grow.
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in achieving territory growth targets and strengthening DHL's market presence across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and networking.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer visits and sales presentations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Prepare proposals, tenders, account plans, and pricing solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and goals recommend DHL products and services that that support these.
  • Build long-term relationships and achieve preferred supplier status with customers.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues both timely and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records within DHL's CRM and sales systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Marketing, eCommerce, and other internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience in field sales or account management (or relevant experience in the express freight/logistics industry)
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Good planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • A proactive, resilient approach with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A full, current driver’s licence
  • Self-motivation
