Job Description

FIELD SALES DEVELOPMENT AFTERMARKET

Are you driven by winning new business and building long-term customer relationships?

At IPCO, you will play a key role in strengthening and expanding our market presence. You actively approach existing, potential and former customers, as well as competitor accounts, with the goal of creating sustainable growth and long-term value.

You will represent a strong and diversified portfolio, including steel belts, spare parts, services, maintenance contracts, retrofits, upgrades and standard equipment. In this role, you take ownership of the full sales cycle and contribute directly to our commercial success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with active customers, with a strong focus on aftermarket and service sales

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for repairs, replacements, upgrades, expansions and new installations

  • Proactively reactivate inactive, lost and competitor customers through structured sales activities

  • Act as a trusted commercial and technical advisor to engineers, maintenance teams, plant managers and management

  • Manage the full sales process, including quotations, negotiations and follow-up

  • Maintain and update customer data, opportunities and activities in CRM

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, contributing to sales strategy and forecasting

  • Support revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities

Your Profile

You take ownership of your work, operate independently when needed and contribute actively to the success of the wider team.

Requirements

Education

Vocational education (minimum EQF level 5 or equivalent), preferably in a technical or commercial field

Experience

  • Experience in industrial sales (B2B/B2C), preferably within technical or industrial environments

  • Experience managing customer relationships and full sales cycles

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong commercial mindset and customer-oriented approach

  • Ability to translate customer needs into effective technical and commercial solutions

  • Good understanding of industrial products and applications

  • Experience working with CRM systems and structured reporting

  • Good knowledge of MS Office

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Resilient and persistent with a proactive mindset

  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

  • Commercial awareness and results-driven approach

Language

  • Fluent English, written and spoken, is required

  • Additional languages such as Dutch, German and/or French are considered an advantage
