Job Title – Field Sales Consultant (Van) - Bournemouth/Salisbury/Southampton (Construction Industry)

Reporting to – Area Sales Manager

Job
Summary:

This
exciting role is new to the South West Region. This is a van-based sales role
focusing on developing a new customer base in the Construction industry covering
Bournemouth & Southampton. You will also manage a small set of dormant
accounts in the territory to regain customer loyalty, develop a defined sales
territory, building strong relationships with professional customers while
promoting Würth’s extensive range of products and solutions.

You will be
responsible for delivering excellent customer service through regular face‑to‑face visits, selling products from
the van and undertaking product demonstrations. The role requires strong
planning, resilience, and a target‑driven mindset,
supported by structured training, coaching, and clear career development
opportunities.

Key
Responsibilities:

  • Develop
    new business opportunities within an assigned territory
  • Manage
    and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Promote
    Würth products and solutions through face‑to‑face customer visits
  • Conduct
    live product demonstrations
  • Plan,
    organise, and prioritise daily and weekly sales activity
  • Deliver
    consistently high levels of customer service, including after‑sales follow‑up
  • Use
    CRM and sales systems to record activity and track performance
  • Respond
    confidently to customer needs and overcome objections
  • Achieve
    and aim to exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
  • Maintain
    accurate customer and territory information
  • Represent
    the company professionally at all times

Person
Specification:

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Self‑motivation and ability to work
    independently
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Resilience, persistent & negotiation skills
  • Basic IT and CRM competence
  • Experience using sales reporting tools
  • Experience managing a geographic territory
  • 5+ years sales experience prospecting for new business - preferable

Additional
Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Can safely store the company van overnight i.e not on street
    parking.
  • Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge (full training
    provided)
  • Flexibility
    to travel within assigned territory
