This position will be the focal point of quality related collaboration between customer and TI. You will need to cultivate strong partnerships with customers to drive for customer confidence and loyalty in TI products, quality and technology.

Key to success in this role is to demonstrate team leadership, stakeholder management capability and creativeness when working between customer and TI’s internal organization, and any other resources as necessary, to successfully drive issues and problem solving, enhance customer experience.


Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as customer's advocate inside TI, and act as TI quality representative in front of customer
    1. Collaborate with necessary resources to solve customer’s problem in any proper manners.
    2. Drive alignment of TI and customer's quality requirements for products and processes.
    3. Work with stakeholder to proactively identify quality risk and systemic issue, trigger proper action & communication at the right timing to improve TI product quality.
  • Acting as the focal point for customer returns and communication for quality related issues
    1. Support customer return disposition, including but not limited with field return, production line failures, etc, and drive issue closure.
    2. Responsible for QEM operations (registration, action follow up, etc), ensure data integrity, manage to achieve indices defined in FQE metrics.
  • To be the owner of TI Return Management process, support customer engagement where needed.
  • Facilitate deeper data analysis to find the opportunity for improvement.
  • Manage and coordinate activities of stakeholders within & out of quality organization to improve efficiency and effectiveness of return management process/system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related engineering fields of study
  • 2 years' experience working in a semiconductor environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Team player with good interpersonal skill-set, able to work interdependently with others
  • A self-starter, proactively drive problem solving and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interface and build partnership with customers and internal TI
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage customer expectations
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Experience of working in a semiconductor environment is a plus
