The Field Quality Engineer leads rapid technical triage, advanced vehicle diagnostics, and root cause identification for complex or repeat customer concerns across ICE, Hybrid, and BEV platforms. The role is accountable for reducing Vehicle Off Road (VOR) time, improving Fixed Right First Repair performance, and converting field issues into clear corrective actions.
Core Responsibilities
Role Priorities:
1. Triage: Prioritize vehicle concerns, identify failure mode, and define immediate diagnostic path.
2. Root Cause: Use DTCs, logs, network captures, schematics, and service history to isolate true cause.
3. VOR Reduction: Drive rapid repair validation, escalation closure, and repeat repair prevention.
