Job Summary
The Field Project Manager supports the Construction Operations Manager and Service Coordinator with all day-to-day operational and construction-related activities. This role works closely with builder project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly from planning through completion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient in gas-related systems, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination
Assist the Service Coordinator (SC) and Construction Operations Manager with daily operational tasks, project tracking, and documentation
Coordinate with builder project managers and project superintendents to support project scheduling, communication, and jobsite needs
Coordinate with homeowners on project scheduling, communication, and jobsite needs
Assist CSR's with coordinating service calls, AP/AR
Participate in site visits to collect field information, identify constraints, and support on-site decision-making
Help prepare project updates, reports, and documentation as required
Support SC and COM with all aspects of Gas Permit Inspections and successful closure with Certificates of Completion
Scheduling & Service Operations
Assist Service Coordinator scheduling KickServ and Cargas service calls, installations, inspections, and specialty work
Manage follow-up activities, ensure timely completion of tasks, and maintain clear communication with customers and field Team
Fuel Plan Design & Technical Support
Complete site reviews and assist in the design, layout, and development of residential fuel plans
Review project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with gas codes and installation requirements
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers regarding gas systems, equipment, and applications
Assist with fire feature service & repair requests, troubleshooting, and project recommendations
Assist with tracking equipment lead times, scheduling needs, and service requirements

QualificationsEducation, Certification, Licenses Required:
Construction industry or field-service experience
Familiarity with residential building processes, site coordination, and utility system design
Experience reviewing designs, and gas specific technical documentation
Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to manage multiple projects and close loops both internally and externally with the customer base
Strong commitment to providing excellent customer/builder service. Partnering mentality to provide a total customer experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with builders, customers, and internal teams
High level of accountability and follow-through on assigned tasks. Keen sense of urgency and in maintaining strong business partnerships with builders
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to troubleshoot field-related challenges
Technical understanding of propane and natural gas systems, equipment, and code requirements
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently when needed
Collaborative mindset with a commitment to supporting team goals and customer satisfaction
