As a Field Operator IV, you will perform a senior operational role supporting Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance activities across offshore and onshore environments. You will provide technical leadership during project execution, lead field crews, oversee specialized equipment operations, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and support successful project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and customer service.

As a Field Operator IV, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the execution of Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance services including N2/He leak testing, nitrogen purging, mechanical torque and tensioning, barrier leak testing, pigging, FCGT, hydrotesting, and other critical pipeline and process operations.
• Providing technical leadership during offshore and onshore projects, ensuring operational activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project procedures, customer requirements, and Baker Hughes standards.
• Supervising and coordinating Field Operators and project crews during rig-up, operation, troubleshooting, and rig-down activities while maintaining compliance with all HSE requirements.
• Operating, maintaining, and providing advanced troubleshooting support for nitrogen equipment, fluid pumps, flooding pumps, bolting systems, DHDA pumps, OPP systems, Blagdon pumps, Haskel units, and associated P&M equipment.
• Leading risk assessments, COSHH reviews, Permit to Work (PTW) processes, toolbox talks, and job safety analyses while promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.
• Reviewing and completing technical reports, maintenance records, test documentation, and project paperwork to ensure accuracy, compliance, and successful project delivery.
• Acting as a key customer contact on site, supporting project planning, operational decision-making, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentoring and developing junior operators by sharing technical expertise, supporting competency development, and driving operational excellence across the P&M team.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have significant experience within Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance (P&M), pipeline services, or related oil and gas operations, including experience leading field activities and project crews.
• Demonstrate advanced hands-on expertise in leak testing, nitrogen services, hydrotesting, pigging, mechanical bolting, pressure testing, and pipeline commissioning and maintenance activities.
• Possess strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions in the field.
• Hold a valid UKNS Offshore Survival certificate and current offshore medical certification.
• Maintain all required certifications, authorizations, and competency requirements necessary to work within the UK offshore sector.
• Have strong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, risk assessments, COSHH requirements, offshore safety management processes, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrate proven leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills with the ability to coordinate teams and engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Be highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of leading operations independently while managing multiple priorities in challenging offshore and onshore environments.
