Job Title: Field Operator
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Department: Production Operations
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of power and water desalination plant facilities, ensuring compliance with safety rules, environmental standards, and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor field equipment to maintain plant performance.
Carry out inspections, adjustments, and routine operational tasks.
Apply isolations and act as Designated Person under safety rules.
Record readings, report abnormalities, and support Control Room Engineer/Shift Manager.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safe practices, and environmental requirements.
Perform handovers, assist in emergency situations, and support cross-training activities.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree/Technical qualification (Mechanical or Electrical).
3+ years experience in Power & Desalination Plant operations.
Experience in mechanical/electrical isolations (Designated Person role).
Knowledge of P&IDs, SLDs, and plant operating procedures.
Good English communication (Arabic an advantage).
Physically fit for shift work in a plant environment.
