Job Description
The Field Operator III - Wireline is responsible for performing advanced wireline operations and supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of well intervention services at client locations. The role requires hands-on operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and preparation of wireline equipment, tools, and associated systems in compliance with Weatherford's operational procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
As a senior field professional, the Field Operator III provides on-site guidance to junior crew members, supports job planning and execution, and contributes to operational excellence through technical expertise and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Execute wireline operations safely and efficiently in accordance with Weatherford policies, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wireline tools, equipment, and associated systems.
- Support rig-up and rig-down activities while ensuring compliance with operational and safety procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
- Maintain accurate operational records, equipment maintenance documentation, and service reports.
- Participate in pre-job planning, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and post-job reviews.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and ready for deployment.
- Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environment (QHSSE) requirements at all times.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior Field Operators and assist in developing crew competency.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and operational teams to ensure successful job execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Wireline experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireline equipment and tools.
Preferred
- Technical or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, or related disciplines.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience mentoring or leading field personnel.
