JOB TITLE Field Operations Coordinator
REPORTS TO Regional General Manager or VP of Operations
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
The Field Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of assigned fieldcrews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position serves as theprimary link between assigned field crews, management, and customers. The ideal candidate is highlyorganized, communicates well, can handle frequent schedule changes, and is comfortable makingdecisions in a fast-paced field-service environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple crews, jobs, and priorities simultaneously
Ability to remain calm and make good decisions when schedules change unexpectedly
Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, mapping programs, and scheduling
Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, field operations, vegetation management,utilities, landscaping, transportation, or a similar industry is preferred
Knowledge of field operations and crew productivity is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work at a desk for extended periods of time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule and dispatch assigned field crews to assigned jobs each day
Develop daily and weekly work schedules based on job priorities, crew availability, equipment,
location, and customer requirements
Communicate daily assignments, locations, job requirements, and schedule changes to crewleaders
Track crew locations and job progress throughout the workday
Adjust schedules when jobs are completed early or delayed due to weather, equipment issues,customer requests, or other circumstances
Coordinate with management to determine work priorities and manpower needs
Maintain communication with customers regarding scheduling, job status, delays, and completionwhen required
Ensure crews have the necessary information, equipment, materials, and instructions beforebeing dispatched
Maintain accurate records of completed work, scheduled work, crew assignments, andoutstanding jobs
Assist with tracking employee attendance, call-outs, PTO, and available labor for schedulingpurposes
Coordinate equipment and vehicle assignments when necessary
Help identify scheduling conflicts, productivity issues, or labor shortages before they affectoperations
Communicate urgent field issues to the appropriate manager
Assist with preparing upcoming work so crews can remain productive and minimize downtime
Perform other duties as assigned
