Reports to: Shift In-charge / DCS Engineer
To support the smooth and safe operation of the Carbon Black plant by conducting field checks, monitoring equipment and process parameters, and coordinating with the control room to maintain stable and efficient production.
Conduct routine plant rounds to identify abnormalities such as leaks or unusual readings.
Collect and record field data (pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, etc.).
Communicate real-time updates to the DCS Engineer and Shift Incharge.
Perform manual valve or equipment adjustments as directed from the control room.
Follow safety procedures, including PTW and LOTO systems, and use proper PPE.
Take process samples and deliver them to the lab as per schedule.
Maintain housekeeping and ensure cleanliness of all operational areas.
Assist maintenance teams during equipment isolation, breakdowns, or minor troubleshooting.
Support startups, shutdowns, and emergency operations as per SOPs.
ITI or Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in a continuous process plant (preferably Carbon Black, Chemical, Petrochemical, or Refinery).
Exposure to DCS-controlled operations is an advantage.
Experience in greenfield projects will be an added benefit.
Strong understanding of plant equipment and operations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Safety-focused and proactive attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
