Job Description

About the role

As a Field Officer, you will implement field centre operational plans and carry out work to maintain the field centre infrastructure and facilities.

  • Plan and implement construction and maintenance tasks related to projects, such as upgrading the Junee Cave entrance (home to Australia’s deepest cave) or undertaking track work in the Western Arthurs; every day is different.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring of employees and volunteers engaged in minor construction and maintenance work.
  • Provide information, advice, and assistance to visitors.
  • Undertake fire operations, including fuel management and wildfire suppression.
