What You’ll Do:

  • Harvest season (June - October)
    • Responsible for the efficient operation of the pea harvesters, sweet corn harvesters, and any other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations.
    • Serve as a supervisor/mechanic for field operations. Train other field employees in the safe, proper, and efficient operation of field equipment.
    • Assist in the planting and harvesting of crops.
  • Preventative Maintenance Season (November – May):
    • Overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations.
    • Maintain Lakeside company vehicles

What You’ll Bring:

  • Prior experience with preventative maintenance, machine adjustments, and harvesting procedures is preferred, willing to provide on the job training
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Valid driver’s license is required, CDL a plus
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Safety mindset
