The Marketing family group at F5 is responsible for marketing and advertising, including creative services, market research and customer insights, product messaging, and branding and design. Supports marketing efforts for online media and platforms as well as printed marketing materials.


F5’s Field Marketing family is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to support brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement across various regions and geographies. Collaborates closely with sales, product marketing, communications and digital teams to align local messaging, campaigns and go-to-market plans with global business objectives. May span content development, event execution, campaign management and performance tracking.

TECHNICAL ACUMEN

Possesses a broad understanding of marketing strategies to drive creative solutions and brand awareness. Knowledge of planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects, advance existing opportunities and align Marketing investment with targeted campaigns, programs, and initiatives that contribute to pipeline growth, deal acceleration and awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns that align with corporate strategy and regional/industry-specific objectives.
  • Partner with product marketing, field sales, and regional leaders to shape goto-market messaging and content plans.
  • Use marketing automation and CRM tools to segment audiences and deploy personalized communications.
  • Track and report on KPIs for campaign performance and pipeline contribution across channels.
  • Optimize budget allocation across campaigns to drive engagement and ROI.

Attributes

  • Receives minimal instruction on new assignments and begins to proactively take on more complex work.
  • Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.
  • May impact closely related teams including field marketing, demand generation, customer marketing and partner marketing.
  • Ability to manage outside marketing automation agencies to ensure projects are completed accurately, on-time and built around best-in-class repeatable processes.
  • Ability to assemble and interpret data and deliver actionable business insights.
  • Ability to execute local components of geographic and corporate marketing campaigns including event activity digital campaigns, channel marketing, tradeshows, etc
