Manage the development, delivery, and analysis of integrated go-to-market programs for a country that include all products, solutions and services sold in the country; all customer segments; and all types of partner marketing.

Manage the development/delivery/analysis of integrated go-to-market (GTM) programs for a country. Typically found in small countries/sub-regions where the infrastructure does not allow for specialization, so the role must support all GTM activities within that country. Includes all products/solutions/services sold in the country, all customer segments (horizontal, vertical/industry, key accounts) and all types of partner marketing (channels, alliances, sponsorships, promotional).

Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and secures approval for GTM plans and budgets.
  • Own end-to-end event execution across Canada, including industry events, HPE-hosted experiences, executive forums, and field activations
  • Drive pipeline generation by aligning programs with sales priorities, target accounts, and key verticals
  • Partner with Sales leaders to develop strategic marketing plans that support revenue goals and territory needs
  • Directs cross-functional, cross-organizational teams and agencies in the development and execution of GTM plans and budgets.
  • Develops customer segmentation strategies and defines customer experience plans and executes/monitors them.
  • Develops/owns overall marketing scorecard/dashboard and associated metrics/goals/benchmarks. Track, measure, and optimize performance including leads, pipeline influence, and event ROI against goals.
  • Develops closed-loop post- analysis for marketing programs and identifies/executes indicated actions.
  • Performs marketing support activities as needed, e.g. PO and accrual management, collateral fulfillment.
  • Develop field-ready assets and toolkits to enable Sales teams before, during, and after events
  • Ensure consistent brand and messaging across all programs and touchpoints

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years marketing experience including offering marketing, segment marketing, partner marketing, market research and customer database/analytics.
  • Agency, sales and/or channel experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Acknowledged mastery of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
  • Highly-knowledgeable on all aspects of offering, segment, partner and account-based marketing.
  • Ability to manage advertising/direct marketing/research vendors.
  • In-depth understanding of the industry, offering categories and company offerings/strategy.
  • Solid project and budget management skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communications.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
  • Exceptional negotiating skills.

  • Drives/executes/evaluates marketing strategies and tactics that drive demonstrable revenue, share gains, customer/partner engagement. Strong partner to Sales in key account acquisition/development.

  • Interfaces with senior marketing management, senior cross-functional/cross-organizational management, senior marketing partner management and end customers.
