Job Description

Why Socure?

Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.

We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Field Marketing Intern to support Socure's Public Sector team. This role is primarily focused on event logistics and meeting scheduling for the Public Sector go-to-market team, with remaining capacity supporting broader field marketing programs.

The intern will sit at the intersection of field marketing and public sector sales, helping the team run high-impact event programs and executive meetings while developing a strong understanding of how B2B marketing drives pipeline and revenue in the public sector market.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys operational execution, cross-functional coordination, and creating well-organized experiences for prospects and internal stakeholders. In addition to day-to-day support, the intern will own a special project designed to create measurable business impact. At the close of the internship, they will present their project, findings, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate logistics for public sector events, conferences, roundtables, executive dinners, and hosted programs—including venue, catering, materials, and on-site setup.

  • Schedule and manage meetings between the Public Sector sales team and prospects, customers, and partners tied to events and standalone outreach programs.

  • Build and maintain calendars, scheduling trackers, and logistics timelines to keep the Public Sector team organized and on schedule.

  • Track meeting status, attendee confirmations, and follow-up actions before, during, and after events.

  • Coordinate directly with Public Sector sellers, MDRs, and account executives to align on meeting priorities, schedules, and logistics needs.

  • Help ensure clean handoffs after events—capturing meeting outcomes, next steps, and follow-up assignments in Salesforce or equivalent tools.

  • Support pre-event and post-event outreach coordination in partnership with the Public Sector and MDR teams.

  • Assist with post-event reporting, including attendance, meetings held, follow-up completion, and basic pipeline contribution data.

  • Contribute to ongoing field marketing initiatives as business needs evolve.

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive executive-level presentation summarizing your project findings, strategic recommendations, and key learnings at the close of the internship.

What you bring

  • Ideally located in Washington D.C.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in dynamic, event-driven situations.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and execution-oriented mindset.

  • Interest in B2B marketing, event marketing, account-based marketing, or sales-aligned pipeline generation.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar platforms is a plus, but not required.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite event support, if needed.
