JOB OBJECTIVE

As a Field Logistic Representative (FLR) supporting the RAFALE program in the UAE, you are responsible for coordinating all logistics activities related to equipment delivery, acceptance, inventory management, transportation and repair flows. You ensure the availability of customer assets while maintaining compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements, and act as the primary logistics interface between the customer, local stakeholders and Thales support teams.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the receipt, delivery and acceptance of customer equipment, including the management of Delivery and Acceptance Certificates.
  • Ensure all logistics transactions are accurately recorded in Thales logistics information systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels, equipment consumption and stock availability to support operational readiness.
  • Identify potential shortages and proactively report associated risks to the Team Leader.
  • Coordinate repair, overhaul and warranty return logistics, including shipment preparation and administrative activities.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation in compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinate transportation activities with freight forwarders, customs authorities and local stakeholders.
  • Monitor logistics performance and provide regular operational and inventory reports.
  • Support customers by resolving logistics related issues and ensuring effective communication throughout the logistics process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient execution of logistics activities and continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, export control requirements and Thales quality standards

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Support.
  • Proven experience in international transportation, import/export and logistics operations.
  • Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations and material control.
  • Experience coordinating repair and reverse logistics activities.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
  • Experience within the aerospace, defense or high-technology industry is considered an advantage.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Professional certification in Supply Chain or Logistics (APICS, CILT or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an advantage.
