Field Industrial Technician

Pay Rate: $21 - $39/hour

Field Industrial Technicians travel to jobsites to perform various installation tasks related to industrial mechanical contracting projects. This may include tasks related to welding, rigging, millwright work, painting, and other industrial duties, frequently requiring work from ladders, elevated heights, and challenging jobsite conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate material handling equipment and motorized vehicles
• Utilize welding equipment, fabrication machinery, and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform work at heights over four feet and in confined spaces in accordance with OSHA standards
• Assist with the processing and installation of steel structures, weldments, piping systems, pressure vessels, and sheet metal components of varying shapes and sizes
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with industrial and jobsite regulations

Requirements:

• Out-of-town work is a considerable portion of the role and is required
• Ability to work in industrial environments, including heights and confined spaces
