A premium Lodge in the Greater Addo region is looking for a dedicated and passionate Junior or Senior Field Guide who wants their career to make a genuine ecological and social impact. Key Areas of Responsibility Conduct twice-daily game drives showcasing our diverse Big Five reserve. Lead specialized guest activities upon request, including nature walks, star gazing, and SAN rock art tours . Manage the check-in and check-out process for arriving and departing lodge guests. Provide backup support for staff transport as dictated by operational needs. Host guests warmly at the lodge when adverse weather prevents scheduled field activities. Requirements Essential Criteria Minimum NQF2 qualification. Valid Professional Driving Permit ( PrDP ). Valid First Aid qualification. Fluency in English with excellent communication skills. Deep knowledge of local flora and fauna . Strong interpersonal and team-work abilities. A positive, adaptable working attitude and a genuine passion for sharing nature . Desired Criteria Prior experience working within a 5-star luxury lodge environment . Trails Guide qualification. Strong understanding of and experience in wildlife conservation and relevant environmental issues.
