Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Low Voltage Field Foreman to lead commercial security installation projects throughout the New Brunswick area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing field crews, coordinating daily jobsite activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronic security and low-voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and structured cabling, and a proven track record leading installation teams on commercial construction projects. This individual is comfortable working alongside technicians, managing jobsite challenges, and serving as the primary field leader to keep projects on schedule and up to quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise installation crews on commercial security and low-voltage projects.
  • Coordinate daily activities with General Contractors, project managers, and other trades.
  • Support technicians in the field and provide technical guidance when needed.
  • Review drawings, project plans, and installation requirements to ensure successful execution.
  • Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and manage manpower efficiently.
  • Maintain project quality, productivity, and schedule adherence.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and proactively identify solutions.
  • Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Foreman, Lead Technician, or Supervisor within the low-voltage, electronic security, access control, or CCTV industry
  • Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and structured cabling systems
  • Experience leading installation crews on commercial projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project documentation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
