Job Summary

Based in Watertown, MA, you’ll transport Spaulding Rehabilitation patients to their appointments and support them through transitions across their care environment. Join our EMT team based in Watertown, MA!

  • Full-Time Schedule: Three 13.5-hour shifts, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM–8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care during transport
  • Safely operate and maintain ambulances and medical equipment
  • Assist with discharges and facility transfers professionally and respectfully
  • Accurately document patient care

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Emergency Medical Technician required

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?

No

Licenses and Credentials

Basic Life Support - required

Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] required

Emergency Medical Technician [NREMT-Basic] - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred

Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License preferred

Experience

EMT Experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of practice.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful and crisis situations.
