Job Description

About Our Client Our client is developing solutions to improve the transparency and accountability of humanitarian stablecoin aid. While digital aid can be transferred across borders quickly and at low cost, measuring the actual value recipients receive after converting funds into cash remains a significant challenge. Through a pilot project in Lebanon, conducted in partnership with a UN organization, our client aims to measure how much value reaches recipients throughout the cash-out process. This initiative will help generate verified data on exchange rates, transaction costs, and the accessibility of cash-out services within a humanitarian aid corridor. The Opportunity We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented Field Data Collectors to support our client's pilot project across three regions of Lebanon: Greater Beirut / Mount Lebanon North Lebanon (Tripoli area) Bekaa (Zahle area) As a Field Data Collector, you will conduct test transactions at designated cash-out points to measure the actual amount of cash received when converting stablecoins. You will document exchange rates, fees, transaction times, and final cash amounts to help build a reliable picture of the costs and accessibility of cash-out services. You can cover the region where you live or multiple regions if you have reliable transportation and are comfortable traveling across the country. What You'll Do Attend one training day covering the project methodology, data collection templates, and safety protocols. Conduct approximately 10 test transactions at cash-out points designated by the project team. Record the quoted exchange rate, actual rate received, transaction time, and final cash amount for each transaction. Complete transaction records using a shared data template on the same day as each transaction. Map the cash-out points visited, documenting their locations, rates, and applicable fees. Report transaction refusals, operational challenges, and newly identified cash-out points to the project team. Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and ready for verification by the project team. Requirements Native Arabic speaker with working written English skills. Based in one of the target regions, with good knowledge of the local area, or willing and able to travel between regions. Access to a car or other reliable transportation. Own smartphone and confidence using mobile applications and digital tools. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and record-keeping skills. High level of discretion and responsibility when handling cash and interacting with informal financial networks. Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and communicate findings clearly. Nice to Have Previous experience in field research, data collection, surveys, monitoring and evaluation, or similar assignments. Familiarity with local cash-out services, money transfer providers, or informal financial networks. Experience using spreadsheets, digital forms, mapping applications, or mobile data collection tools. No prior cryptocurrency or stablecoin experience is required. Full training will be provided at the start of the project. Safety & Working Protocols All transactions will be conducted on behalf of our client under a signed letter of authority and in accordance with established safety protocols. Field Data Collectors will only hold funds for the transaction currently in progress and will never be asked to travel to an area under a security advisory. All activities must follow the project's procedures and safety instructions. Future Opportunities This pilot is the first of several projects planned by our client in Lebanon and the wider region. Strong performers may be prioritized for future assignments with the client and its partners.
