DuPont is immediately hiring a Field Contract Administrator at our Midland, MI site.
As a Field Contract Administrator for DuPont, you will be responsible for managing the interface between the contractors and the site. You will be the primary liaison between the contractors and the area operations personnel - the connection between the Site Contract Administrator and the contractor. You will provide tactical support (boots on the ground) for the Site Contract Administrator.
This is a full-time position with an expectation of 80% of the time spent in the field.
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
Ensures contractors comply with local regulatory and DuPont safety requirements, whichever is more stringent
Recognize and manage co-management issues
Reviews and understand the scope of work
Ensures compliance with Site Contracting Strategy
Participates in pre-job meeting
Verifies the contractor inspected their tools and equipment
Monitors safety, quality, cost, and schedule
Monitors and documents changes to scope of work
Prepares site access passes
Ensures the site permit to work process is applied to contractor work
Ensures the contractor completes thorough Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) / Task Risk Analyses documents
Ensures all handheld electrical tools, hand tools, equipment e.g. Cranes, scissors lifts, welding machine, air compressors, ladders & scaffold materials are in good condition prior to being brought into the site
Performs regular safety audit/workplace inspections and field walks
Keeps record of safety audit/workplace inspections findings and follows-up for closure
Signs and maintain time sheets, material tickets, documentation for Receipt of Service (ROS)
Assist Site CA resolve claims and contract issues
Maintains daily reports of work
Provides input on post-job evaluation
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
High School diploma with craft/trade or technical expertise
3-5 years of manufacturing or related experience
Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operation) experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams (both DuPont and Contractor)
Effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to present information to all levels in the organization and address external organizations
