Reporting to: National Field Force Capability Manager

Field Coaching & Capability Executive

This role is responsible for driving field execution excellence through in-market coaching, evaluating execution standards, identifying capability and execution gaps, and implementing improvement actions to enhance sales force effectiveness and outlet-level execution. In addition, the role is expected to support field capability development through targeted coaching, training coordination, and monitoring training effectiveness in line with business priorities.

As the Field Coaching & Capability Executive in the area of Sales, you will:

Sales Training Plans Development

  • Identify training needs and gaps within the Sales/Field Force team.
  • Execute annual training plans aligned with Sales KPIs and Field Force needs.
  • Assess field execution compliance against outlet priorities, sales routines, execution standards, SOPs and capability frameworks.

On-field Training Delivery and Coaching

  • Deliver Sales Training sessions.
  • Implement on-field training to support classroom training with practical application.
  • Conduct regular field coaching through joint visits and trade observations to improve salesforce selling capabilities and execution standards.

Post-Training Follow-Up

  • Prepare and track action plans after training sessions.
  • Regularly assess field force progress and adjust training as needed.
  • Report training effectiveness and related metrics to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering

  • Partner with Sales, Capability, Commercial and Distributor teams to align capability-building initiatives with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Distributor Leads and Managers to drive measurable improvements in field performance.
  • Foster strong stakeholder partnerships to promote a high-performance learning culture.

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • More than 3 years experience in field sales, sales supervision, coaching, auditing or capability development within FMCG or field sales environment
  • Good English communication skills
  • Functional Skills:
    • Field coaching, feedback delivery and joint-visit observation
    • Sales execution, outlet management and field audit techniques
    • Diagnosing skill, behavior, and process gaps
    • Data analysis, reporting and action planning
    • Real-time feedback and behavior reinforcement
    • Stakeholder management, planning and follow-up discipline
