The FieldClinicalEngineer supports Recor's clinical trial operations with responsibilities weighted approximately 80% toward clinical pipeline development and patientrecruitment, andprovide20%timetoward technical case support in thecathlabuponproficiency Candidatesseekingprimarily case support or traditional clinical field engineering roles should note this unique balance.

The majority ofthis role involves building sustainable patient pipelines for Recor-sponsored clinical studies through strategic site consultation. Internally, the CFE partners with Therapy Development to align recruitment strategies with programobjectives At clinical sites, the CFE works with site research teams, data teams, and commercial stakeholders toleverageclaims data for building provider referral networks and utilize EMR systems toidentifyeligible patients within those networks. The CFE guides sites in designing and implementing EMR flagging criteria and recruitment workflows, builds relationships with site coordinators and referring physicians, and develops targeted outreach programs. Successrequiresinfluencing site teams without direct authority and tracking recruitment metrics across multiple sites using CTMS and Salesforce.

The technicalcomponentincludes providing in-roomcathlab support during Paradise™uRDNprocedures, proctoring cases, certifying physicians on device use, and delivering hands-on training on device setup and operation. This work requires coordination with Sales Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists to ensure seamless case coverage and site support.

As Recor's commercial presence expands over the next 18-24 months, this role will evolve to become increasingly technical with greater emphasis on procedure support and device troubleshooting. The ideal candidate brings clinical researchexpertise, strong consultative and relationship-building skills,understanding ofhealthcare data analytics and EMR systems, and technical aptitude for interventional cardiology procedures. This position reports to Clinical Operations and requires comfort working independently across multiple sites while collaborating with both clinical and commercial teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

Clinical Pipeline Development & Patient Recruitment (~80%)

  • Partner with Therapy Development to align recruitment strategies with clinical program objectives

  • Consult with sites and data scientists to design EMR flagging criteria and patient identification algorithms

  • Guide sites in implementing andoptimizingEMR flags; provide recommendations on workflow improvements

  • Analyze claims/EMR data toidentifyhigh-potential providers and patient populations; develop targeted outreach strategies

  • Build relationships with site coordinators, investigators, and referring physicians; track metrics using CTMS/Salesforce

Cath Lab Procedure & Technical Support (~20%)

  • Additionaltraining and exposure provided as the individualbecomeproficient in the Cath Lab

  • Partner with a senior team member to provide in-room technical support during Paradise™ procedures; proctor cases and certify physicians

  • Partner with a senior team member to deliver hands-on training on device setup/operation; coordinate with Sales Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists

  • Partner with a senior team member to troubleshoot technical issues;optimizecathlab workflows foruRDNprocedures

Site Qualification & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Conduct Site Qualification/Initiation Visits with CRA/PM; ensure Day-1 workflows andcathlab readiness

  • Partner with Clinical Ops, Medical Affairs, Therapy Development, Quality/Regulatory, and Commercial teams

  • Provide field feedback to R&D/Clinical Engineering; create reports on recruitment and technical outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field

  • 3+ years in clinical researchoperations;field clinical engineering;proven patient recruitment success

  • Exposureto thecathlabhighly recommended

  • Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, IDE trials; understanding of EMR systems architecture and data analytics methodologies

  • Strong consultative and advisory skills; ability to influence site teams and guide implementation without direct authority

  • Proficiencyin MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CTMS, and Salesforce or similar CRM

  • Excellent communication across clinical/commercial teams; self-motivated and independent across multiple sites

  • Physical: stand extended periods, work incathlab with radiation exposure; flexible schedule for procedures/on-call

Preferred Qualifications

  • CRC certification; Field Clinical Engineer/Specialist experience in interventional cardiology/vascular devices

  • IDE trial experience; clinical research and commercial intersection experience; advanced Excel skills

  • Experience collaborating with data scientists or analytics teams on patient identification strategies

  • Hypertension/renal denervation knowledge; EMR systems (Epic, Cerner); trial platforms (Medidata, Veeva); claims data analysis

Salary range $107,640-$130,000 (Commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training)

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This program is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to maintain radiation exposure at levels that are As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA). Additional guidance and protective equipment, as necessary, will be provided as part of onboarding and ongoing safety training.
